Heating Controls

When it comes to heating your home efficiently, a full set of heating controls is not only as essential as an energy efficient boiler, but on a new installation it is a building regulations requirement.

Heating controls allow you to have complete control of your heating and hot water needs installing and using the correct controls, will enable you to manage when you’re heating and hot water is switched on and off. Heating controls, allow you to make the most of your central heating system, ensuring it is only ever used when necessary, this not only provides a highly efficient home, but also lower fuel bills.

 

A properly controlled heating system should have the following:

 

Programmer

Room Thermostat, Programmable Room Thermostat (Programmer and Thermostat combined)

Cylinder Thermostat (if your home has a regular conventional heat only boiler with a separate hot water cylinder)

Motorised 3 port diverter or mid-Position or 2 port zone valves.

Thermostatic Radiator Valves (TRVs).
